Hi everyone : ) So today we changed the show to a Soul Guidance show because our guest couldn't be on for the Vegan and Vegetarian lifestyle show. We allowed Spirit to guide us and the topic flowed into "Letting Go." Some points we covered:
-Letting go of our defenses and shells/shields. Through allowing our emotions to bubble up to the surface, we can release whatever needs to be released. By letting go of our defenses and allowing ourselves to be vulnerable, we become invulnerable. Feel your feelings all the way through.
Quote: "To transform breakdowns into breakthroughs is the whole function of a master." ~Osho
-Letting go of the need to control. Our true control comes from BEING in this moment, surrendering, and accepting all that Life has to offer. When we make room for God to work through us, we will see miracles everywhere. When we detach from the need to know details and the outcome, we flow with Life.
-Letting go of the past. We can heal the past when we let go of it through forgiveness. In this moment we are either choosing to hold onto the past or we are accepting and letting go. When we let go, this helps us create a future that isn't just a repeat of our unforgiven past.
-Letting go of the need to identify with what we do rather than what we ARE. When we let go of identifying with roles, identifications, etc and free ourselves from that box, we can live a limitless Life. We are no longer playing it small or taking our human role so serious. Now we can play because we know we are Spirits/Being only playing the role of a human right now.
VIDEO: This is a Nature Wisdom Meditation I did on Vulnerability. When we are letting go, we are being vulnerable. This opens us up to Life and Love. Our strength comes from the willingness to be vulnerable and then we become invulnerable.
Next week, Tameko will be interviewing Rev. Diane Scribner Clevenger on "Aligning with Your Authentic Self through Prayer." So tune in for that interview next Thursday at 9 AM EST. Thanks for listening to this week's show! Have a beautiful weekend. We all are officially in a new chapter. Let's embrace it. : ) Namaste. <333

Ebb & Flow Oracle Card
"Ocean: Ebb and Flow" card by Steven Farmer
"The Ebb and flow of Life is never more clearly represented than in oceans' movements. The tides of these great bodies of water rise and fall in regular rhythms, and the waves continue to roll to the shores in endless and varied patterns, just as they have been doing for millions of years and will continue to do so for millions more.
These tides and waves maintain a relative predictability unless other foreseeable forces of Nature intervene, which have been known to happen. Hurricanes and Earthquakes, for instance, can have a dramatic effect on the characteristics of both tides and the waves.
The oceans cover 70 percent of the Earth, and the human body averages a composition of 70 percent water. The dynamic gravitational interaction of the sun and moon that moves these massive bodies of water and creates the shifting tides also affects our human bodies in ways that we respond to instinctually, often having a great deal more influence over our moods and emotional states than we're aware of.
An important aspect in the art of living is to move with the ebb and flow of your emotions, joining their fluidity but not being captured by it. It is also not necessary to become obsessed with any particular fluctuation in mood or feeling. They are simply emotions, often activated in ways that are completely beyond your understanding. When you neither minimize nor exaggerate the intensity and importance of your emotions, you then have a greater sense of when and how to express them.
You have been fighting the ebb and flow of your own feelings-denying your hurt, anger, or sorrow-by either attaching yourself to one or the other and nurturing it as if it were a nursing child, or else smoothing over your feelings with more practiced responses that deny and hide what is going on beneath the surface of your expression. When you attempt to constrict yourself from experiencing your emotions, it is much like trying to stem the tides that grow even more forceful with every attempt humans make to control them. Allow yourself to swim with these variations rather than resisting them."

Repair vs. Preventive Health Interview
Today we had a VERY informative interview with Amir Muhammad, a very passionate aspiring health and wellness entrepreneur and business owner. He gave us some great tips on how to take preventive measures in regards to our health. Preventive health practices make it so we don't have to take repair procedures (surgery, medicine, etc). This cuts down on not only on a lot of money, time, frustration, and stress, but it can save your life! This can help us live a happy and healthy Life. When our body is healthy, our soul is healthy and vice-versa. When our mind is healthy, our body is healthy. Everything is interconnected. Amir's main message is that the body can heal itself and we can find what we need to prevent disease or heal disease in Nature. Gaia has all that we need to keep our temples in tip-top shape hehe. So some of the tips (be sure to listen to the archived show for the plethora of rich information Amir shared with us) that Amir shared with us this morning were:
-Drinking more water. Try aiming at drinking 1/2 your body weight in ounces of water daily. Water has so many healing properties. Water and fiber together are great for healthy digestion and elimination.
-Aim at eating 6 small meals a day and eating some healthy snacks in between. This will give your body the energy it needs through-out the day.
-Eating more organic fruits and vegetables. Some fruits and veggies he mentioned were: broccoli (great for women's health), blackberries (very high in antioxidants), blueberries (high in antioxidants), peaches, mangoes, strawberries (high in vitamin c), and acerola cherries (the best fruit for vitamin c intake).
-Cutting back on sugary foods and overcooked, fried, and processed foods. Try eating mangoes or other sweet fruits when transitioning to cutting back on sugary foods and aim at eating foods that are broiled, steamed, and/or fresh.
-Finding a work-out that you can do consistently that you enjoy doing. Finding something fun to you will ensure that you stick with it and it can be a great stress reliever! Here's a great quote by Amir in regards to exercise, "Go at your pace, it's not a race, it's a lifestyle change."

Our Solar Plexus & Throat Chakras Show
So this week Tameko and I talked about the Throat chakra and the Solar Plexus chakra. We picked these two chakras because we each have had issues with them. I have had issues with healing my throat chakra (speaking my truth, allowing my feelings to show, expressing myself-creatively, and staying true to myself) and Tameko has had issues with healing her Solar Plexus Chakra (nurturing/honoring herself and not giving so much of herself to others).
We opened it up by discussing the imbalanced and balanced archetypes for each. For the Solar Plexus, the imbalanced archetype is the Servant where the person does not honor themselves and doesn't realize they deserve better than what they are experiencing. When balanced, the archetype turns into the Warrior. For the Throat Chakra, the imbalanced archetype is called the Silent Child where the person holds back from speaking their truth or showing their emotions. When balanced, this is the Communicator archetype.
Tameko went through brief descriptions for each chakra. Like how the Solar Plexus is symbolized by the color yellow and Earth element. It deals with power, anger, confidence, and self esteem issues. Health issues when imbalanced could be diabetes, stomach ulcers, or increased belly weight to name a few. For the Throat chakra, it is symbolized by the color blue and is related to the ear chakras and the sound element. This is all about creativity, self expression, speaking our truth, and honesty. Some health issues if imbalanced could be throat, neck, and thyroid problems.
Some of the tips we had for the Throat chakra were expressing yourself more: talking, writing, singing, video blogging, etc. Just allowing yourself to feel your feelings, and express however you are feeling or thinking to anyone around you. Truly communicating, by balancing talking and listening.
An interesting thing we found out was that each chakra we have issues with the most were related to our life path numbers in numerology (1 for Tameko and 3 for me). 1's deal with leadership, power, courage and 3's deal with self expression and creativity. So it would be interesting to look at your life path in numerology and see if it relates to the chakra(s) you have been healing. Take this fun chakra test I found to see which chakras are balanced or imbalanced. And here is a place where you can find out your life path number.
Tameko talked about her latest victory of going infront of the camera and singing for a few videos. Since she has loved to sing for such a long time and this is truly her passion. This helped her throat chakra AND solar plexus chakra with that courageous step. (yay Tameko! hehe) It's intereting how connected the chakras really are.
Tameko is going to do another blog entry with some more tips she shared Thursday in healing the throat and solar plexus chakras since this is definitely her expertise. So as I go make some tea for my throat right now (a little scratchy), lol! I am signing off with a video I did about a week ago on Staying True to You (a challenge) as I think this ties in really well with the chakra I have had the most trouble with (the throat).
Listen in next week on Thursday at 11 PM EST when we have our first guest and interview with Janet Darby on spreading the awareness of GMO's on our "The Truth About GMO's" show. If you want to be a guest on Soul SiSTARS e-mail us at soulsistarsradio@gmail.com. Also, follow us on twitter at @SoulSiSTARSbtr. : )
Peace and Blessings! : )))
