Soul Guidance-"Letting Go"
Hi everyone : ) So today we changed the show to a Soul Guidance show because our guest couldn't be on for the Vegan and Vegetarian lifestyle show. We allowed Spirit to guide us and the topic flowed into "Letting Go." Some points we covered:
-Letting go of our defenses and shells/shields. Through allowing our emotions to bubble up to the surface, we can release whatever needs to be released. By letting go of our defenses and allowing ourselves to be vulnerable, we become invulnerable. Feel your feelings all the way through.
Quote: "To transform breakdowns into breakthroughs is the whole function of a master." ~Osho
-Letting go of the need to control. Our true control comes from BEING in this moment, surrendering, and accepting all that Life has to offer. When we make room for God to work through us, we will see miracles everywhere. When we detach from the need to know details and the outcome, we flow with Life.
-Letting go of the past. We can heal the past when we let go of it through forgiveness. In this moment we are either choosing to hold onto the past or we are accepting and letting go. When we let go, this helps us create a future that isn't just a repeat of our unforgiven past.
-Letting go of the need to identify with what we do rather than what we ARE. When we let go of identifying with roles, identifications, etc and free ourselves from that box, we can live a limitless Life. We are no longer playing it small or taking our human role so serious. Now we can play because we know we are Spirits/Being only playing the role of a human right now.
VIDEO: This is a Nature Wisdom Meditation I did on Vulnerability. When we are letting go, we are being vulnerable. This opens us up to Life and Love. Our strength comes from the willingness to be vulnerable and then we become invulnerable.
Next week, Tameko will be interviewing Rev. Diane Scribner Clevenger on "Aligning with Your Authentic Self through Prayer." So tune in for that interview next Thursday at 9 AM EST. Thanks for listening to this week's show! Have a beautiful weekend. We all are officially in a new chapter. Let's embrace it. : ) Namaste. <333

Ebb & Flow Oracle Card
"Ocean: Ebb and Flow" card by Steven Farmer
"The Ebb and flow of Life is never more clearly represented than in oceans' movements. The tides of these great bodies of water rise and fall in regular rhythms, and the waves continue to roll to the shores in endless and varied patterns, just as they have been doing for millions of years and will continue to do so for millions more.
These tides and waves maintain a relative predictability unless other foreseeable forces of Nature intervene, which have been known to happen. Hurricanes and Earthquakes, for instance, can have a dramatic effect on the characteristics of both tides and the waves.
The oceans cover 70 percent of the Earth, and the human body averages a composition of 70 percent water. The dynamic gravitational interaction of the sun and moon that moves these massive bodies of water and creates the shifting tides also affects our human bodies in ways that we respond to instinctually, often having a great deal more influence over our moods and emotional states than we're aware of.
An important aspect in the art of living is to move with the ebb and flow of your emotions, joining their fluidity but not being captured by it. It is also not necessary to become obsessed with any particular fluctuation in mood or feeling. They are simply emotions, often activated in ways that are completely beyond your understanding. When you neither minimize nor exaggerate the intensity and importance of your emotions, you then have a greater sense of when and how to express them.
You have been fighting the ebb and flow of your own feelings-denying your hurt, anger, or sorrow-by either attaching yourself to one or the other and nurturing it as if it were a nursing child, or else smoothing over your feelings with more practiced responses that deny and hide what is going on beneath the surface of your expression. When you attempt to constrict yourself from experiencing your emotions, it is much like trying to stem the tides that grow even more forceful with every attempt humans make to control them. Allow yourself to swim with these variations rather than resisting them."

Creative Flow
Hi everyone! So today Tameko and I did a show called Creative Flow. We were bringing back Tameko's former blog talk radio show called Creative Flow. We shared some writing tips and tips in general to get your creativity flowing, sacral chakra opened, and tapping into your inner child. I started the show off with two quotes. One by Alan Alda about Creativity and one by Julia Cameron, author of The Artist's Way, on how writing is healing:
“We should write because it is human nature to write. Writing claims our world. It makes it directly and specifically our own. We should write because humans are spiritual beings and writing is a powerful form of prayer and meditation, connecting us both to our own insights and to a higher and deeper level of inner guidance.
We should write because writing brings clarity and passion to the act of living. Writing is sensual, experiential, grounding. We should write because writing is good for the soul. We should write because writing yields us a body of work, a felt path through the world we live in.
We should write, above all, because we are writers, whether we call ourselves that or not.”
“Be brave enough to live life creatively. The creative is the place where no one else has ever been. You have to leave the city of your comfort and go into the wilderness of your intuition. You can’t get there by bus, only by hard work and risk and by not quite knowing what you’re doing. What you’ll discover will be wonderful. What you’ll discover will be yourself.”
~Alan Alda

~Julia Cameron
Here were the tips we shared that Tameko has shared during workshops she has done and in her new book "Light in You Unlimited" coming out soon (this Fall), tips I share with clients for Soul Exercises between their Meta-Soul Coaching sessions, and exercises from The Artist's Way by Julia Cameron:
-Burning Bowls: Write down all fears, anything holding you back, negative thought patterns, and/or any negative ideas you have on pieces of paper. Light the papers on fire in a fire proof bowl. This will be a signal to Source that you are releasing all of this and are ready to replace it with something positive.
-Morning Pages: Julia Cameron shared a very healing exercise in The Artist's Way about writing 3 pages every single morning when you wake up. This is very meditative as you write whatever thoughts come to mind. There is no "right" way to write as long as you write for 3 pages right when you wake up. Be free and have fun with it. You can ask Source a question the night before and in the morning pages the answer can come to you if you truly listen.
-Thoughts of the Day: This is a great exercise to do if you have just moved, or have a new job or new relationship, etc. Write down before going to bed key moments that really stuck out for you through-out the day. It is good to document new experiences in your Life. You can also see the synchronicities in your Life and it gives you a clearer perspective on situations and lessons in your Life.
-Forgiveness Letters: Write a letter to whatever it is you want to release or that is holding you back. It can be a person, situation, yourself (ego), or emotions like guilt, fear, procrastination, etc. In the beginning of the letter write however you are feeling towards them. Put it ALL out there. Vent. Allow everything to bubble up to the surface. Then near the end of the letter or in a new letter think about/reflect on all that you have learned from this emotion, person, situation, and then release. Be totally honest with yourself. Show gratitude and fore-give. Because without them you wouldn't be here right now healing and moving forward.
Here is a Break-Up Letter I wrote to Fear on my blog. It was comical at times but also quite healing to write.
-Being Playful: This is a great technique in tapping into our inner child. PLAY! Play in paint, play dough, color in a coloring book with some crayons, watch a cartoon you liked as a child, listen to music from when you were a child, etc. Do anything fun and playful. This helps us to see the magic in Life, be in the present moment, and not take Life so seriously. Lighten up! ; )
-Everyday Meditations: In the Artist's Way, Julia talks about looking at everything as a meditation and a way to be creative. This can be done by cooking, baking, washing dishes, decorating, fun exercises, walking, etc. Anything you are doing, if you are mindful and totally into it, it becomes a meditation and it becomes a way to express creativity. This also taps into our inner child because as children everything we did was a fun adventure because we were totally one with whatever was at hand.
-Freedom Exercise: Julia also talks about writing down everything you aren't allowed to do that you would do if you could. Her examples were walking outside naked, punching your boss in the face, etc. The point of this exercise is to not judge ourselves for any thoughts or feelings we may have. To not suppress them because they aren't "good" things to do. This gives us the freedom to write however we feel and to remember we aren't those feelings so allow them to move. This is a good exercise to vent and confront any anger feelings we may have suppressed. At first it may be hard because we police ourselves, but if you allow yourself to do it, it can be very healing as you are freeing yourself from the burden of suppressing all of those feelings.
-BONUS Exercise (Game Night): Play games with friends and/or family that were your favorite games as a child. This is also good for healing and nurturing our inner child. Have Fun!! : )))
Here are some videos I made on creativity. The first one is Quotes on Creativity to really help you in allowing your creativity to flow. This is freedom. We become vessels for the Divine. The other video is on the 10 Principles of Creativity in Julia Cameron's The Artist's Way book. Enjoy!
So next week's show will be a show called "Ebb and Flow" by Tameko. She will be relaxing at the Ocean doing a Soul Guidance styled show. So tune in next week at 9 AM EST to see what flows through her for the show.
Have a wonderful and healing weekend, Loves. October is definitely a time of change and rebirth. Here is a great article on how October is the Turning Point month this year that I found recently. Hope it resonates! <3
You can always e-mail us at Soulsistarsradio@gmail.com with any questions, if you want to be on the show or want to contact Tameko for her Chakra Healing, Tarot/Oracle Readings, and/or Guided Meditations services and other projects (like her book Light in You Unlimited coming out soon) and you can contact Jennifer (me) if you are interested in Meta-Soul Coaching sessions or having an Astrological and/or Numerological Report done. : )

Zen and Inner Alchemy
So today was a really interesting show. This was such a timely show with the Autumn season here in the Northern hemisphere representing the Phoenix rising and the Spring season in the Southern hemisphere representing the butterfly breaking out of the cocoon. Equinoxes are definitely a time for Alchemy.
We started the show off with this quote by Osho to connect Zen and Inner Alchemy since they are closely related:
"Zen is not a believer's world. It is not for the faithful ones; it is for those daring souls who can drop all belief, unbelief, doubt, reason, mind, and simply enter into their pure existence without boundaries. But it brings a tremendous transformation.
Hence, let me say that while others are involved in philosophies, Zen is involved in metamorphosis, in a transformation. It is authentic alchemy: it changes you from base metal into gold. But its language has to be understood, not with your reasoning and intellectual mind but with your loving heart. Or even just listening, not bothering whether it is true or not. And a moment comes suddenly that you see it, which has been eluding you your whole life."
We then got to talking about Zen and living a Zen lifestyle which is simply living a more mindful, simplistic life where we are fully in the NOW. We had some tips to allowing this:
-Getting more intimate with our feelings. Getting out of our head and into feeling whatever feeling comes up allows us to be more present. Living from the heart and feeling is a connection to Truth.
-De-cluttering our life. Cleaning out our cars, houses, work spaces, etc. Letting go of what we no longer need. Keeping it simple in Life. Our Life is a reflection of what is going on inside.
-Detaching from outcomes, people, things, thoughts, feelings etc. Allowing all to flow in and out of Awareness. Simply being the Witness. Knowing that we are Joy and it doesn't come from "out there."
-Embracing our inner child. Having fun. Playing games. Doing things that make us lighten ourselves up and become focused on this present moment more and more.
-Giving our full attention to whatever we are doing right NOW. If we are taking a shower, for example, truly feeling how the water feels on our body and tuning into our senses. This will help us see the miracles all around us and that the ordinary is truly extraordinary.
-Being in Nature. This helps us to be more present and to clear our minds. We can feel the ONEness with ALL and it puts things into perspective for us. This also reassures us that in this moment, there are endless possibilities. We have no limits once we let go of the belief in limits.
We then talked about Inner Alchemy and how the word Alchemy comes from Kemet (ancient Egypt). Alchemy means transformation or metamorphosis.
We both talked about how our inner alchemy has been surrendering more to this moment and allowing everything to be how it is so we can flow with it. This helps us be our true Selves more and be at Peace.
Tameko shared with us a powerful affirmation that is good to incorporate in your day: "All events flow towards a beautiful outcome."
Here is a video I did on Zen proverbs, quotes and sayings. Enjoy!
So next week's show will be Tameko interviewing Charles Fox about "Fatherless Children" This will be an eye opening interview about this topic and how we can heal our past so we can move forward. The time for this show will be different from our regular time. It will be at 11 PM EST. Our shows afterwards will be at 9 AM EST again. Check back soon to see the upcoming shows that we have scheduled. We have some great shows coming up and different projects Soul SiSTARS will be doing in the upcoming months. I am moving soon so I will be back on Soul SiSTARS on Thursday October 27th at 9 AM EST I look forward to being reunited with all of you and sharing new insights then. Have a wonderful weekend Divine siblings! Namaste. <333

Repair vs. Preventive Health Interview
Today we had a VERY informative interview with Amir Muhammad, a very passionate aspiring health and wellness entrepreneur and business owner. He gave us some great tips on how to take preventive measures in regards to our health. Preventive health practices make it so we don't have to take repair procedures (surgery, medicine, etc). This cuts down on not only on a lot of money, time, frustration, and stress, but it can save your life! This can help us live a happy and healthy Life. When our body is healthy, our soul is healthy and vice-versa. When our mind is healthy, our body is healthy. Everything is interconnected. Amir's main message is that the body can heal itself and we can find what we need to prevent disease or heal disease in Nature. Gaia has all that we need to keep our temples in tip-top shape hehe. So some of the tips (be sure to listen to the archived show for the plethora of rich information Amir shared with us) that Amir shared with us this morning were:
-Drinking more water. Try aiming at drinking 1/2 your body weight in ounces of water daily. Water has so many healing properties. Water and fiber together are great for healthy digestion and elimination.
-Aim at eating 6 small meals a day and eating some healthy snacks in between. This will give your body the energy it needs through-out the day.
-Eating more organic fruits and vegetables. Some fruits and veggies he mentioned were: broccoli (great for women's health), blackberries (very high in antioxidants), blueberries (high in antioxidants), peaches, mangoes, strawberries (high in vitamin c), and acerola cherries (the best fruit for vitamin c intake).
-Cutting back on sugary foods and overcooked, fried, and processed foods. Try eating mangoes or other sweet fruits when transitioning to cutting back on sugary foods and aim at eating foods that are broiled, steamed, and/or fresh.
-Finding a work-out that you can do consistently that you enjoy doing. Finding something fun to you will ensure that you stick with it and it can be a great stress reliever! Here's a great quote by Amir in regards to exercise, "Go at your pace, it's not a race, it's a lifestyle change."

Divine Feminine & the Sacral Chakra
Hello everyone! Jennifer and I just completed part 2 of the Yin/Yang and Divine Feminine energies series a few moments ago on Blog Talk Radio. We had a blast!
We shared information on the Sacral Chakra, which is located between the navel and base of the spine or groin area. The color of it is orange. It spins in a clockwise motion when it is balanced. So naturally you should visualize your sacral chakra spinning. The Sacral Chakra is associated with the Earth element, which is also a part of the Yin energies that we discussed on Thursday night's show as well. So it is associated with feminine energies/qualities/aspects.
As for the Divine Feminine, we had a wonderful time talking about Mother Earth (Gaia) and how she needs our love and attention. There is nothing wrong with revering the Earth and all of nature. Heal the Earth, we Heal ourSelves.
We discussed the Triple Goddess, which is the Maiden, the Mother, and the Crone. This triple deity or Feminine Holy Trinity represents the cycle of life as well as the cycle of the moon.
Maiden - Birth - Waxing Moon
Mother - Life - Full Moon
Crone - Death/Rebirth - Waning Moon
By honoring Goddesses or Female Deities, we are honoring that part of ourselves that embodies those same qualities. Thus, we heighten our divine feminine energies, which can heal the world.
We talked about how particularly women of color and women in general are in need of embracing their feminine qualities and energies.
Some suggestions for embracing the Divine Feminine:
Bellydancing
Chakra Clearing (Sacral Chakra)
Yin Yoga
For further study & research:

Crystalinks - http://www.crystalinks.com and search for Triple Goddess or Goddess
You can simply Google, Bing, or Yahoo - Yin/Yang, Divine Feminine, Triple Goddess, Sacral Chakra and you will find youreslf in the midst of a plethora of information.
Join us next week on 8/11/11 @ 11pm EST for our show called, "Breaking Out of the Cocoon." This is a show you don't want to miss as we will be discussing true FREEDOM.
Peace & blessings!

Soul Guidance
I made a last minute change to tonight's show from "Natural Hair Care" to "Soul Guidance." Jennifer wasn't feeling well, so I hosted the show with impromptu soul guidance.
A brief recap of what came through as I channelled information:
Be sure to send questions to Jennifer and I for more Soul Guidance for future shows. Next week's show is another 2-parter on "Yin/Yang Energies & the Divine Feminine" Thursday 8/4 @ 11pm and Friday 8/5 @ 11pm EST.
Thank you for tuning in!
Blessings!
A brief recap of what came through as I channelled information:
- The mind is the soul. The soul is the mind.
- At some point in our lives we question life with questions such as "Why me?" "What's going on with my life?"
- I have discovered that these questions are keys that unlock the journey of self-discovery to our higher consciousness.
- Shifting consciousness from sleep to awake, from unaware to aware.
- Be sure to document your journey through digital media or writing. But especially, through writing with pen and notebook.
Be sure to send questions to Jennifer and I for more Soul Guidance for future shows. Next week's show is another 2-parter on "Yin/Yang Energies & the Divine Feminine" Thursday 8/4 @ 11pm and Friday 8/5 @ 11pm EST.

Our Solar Plexus & Throat Chakras Show
So this week Tameko and I talked about the Throat chakra and the Solar Plexus chakra. We picked these two chakras because we each have had issues with them. I have had issues with healing my throat chakra (speaking my truth, allowing my feelings to show, expressing myself-creatively, and staying true to myself) and Tameko has had issues with healing her Solar Plexus Chakra (nurturing/honoring herself and not giving so much of herself to others).
We opened it up by discussing the imbalanced and balanced archetypes for each. For the Solar Plexus, the imbalanced archetype is the Servant where the person does not honor themselves and doesn't realize they deserve better than what they are experiencing. When balanced, the archetype turns into the Warrior. For the Throat Chakra, the imbalanced archetype is called the Silent Child where the person holds back from speaking their truth or showing their emotions. When balanced, this is the Communicator archetype.
Tameko went through brief descriptions for each chakra. Like how the Solar Plexus is symbolized by the color yellow and Earth element. It deals with power, anger, confidence, and self esteem issues. Health issues when imbalanced could be diabetes, stomach ulcers, or increased belly weight to name a few. For the Throat chakra, it is symbolized by the color blue and is related to the ear chakras and the sound element. This is all about creativity, self expression, speaking our truth, and honesty. Some health issues if imbalanced could be throat, neck, and thyroid problems.
Some of the tips we had for the Throat chakra were expressing yourself more: talking, writing, singing, video blogging, etc. Just allowing yourself to feel your feelings, and express however you are feeling or thinking to anyone around you. Truly communicating, by balancing talking and listening.
An interesting thing we found out was that each chakra we have issues with the most were related to our life path numbers in numerology (1 for Tameko and 3 for me). 1's deal with leadership, power, courage and 3's deal with self expression and creativity. So it would be interesting to look at your life path in numerology and see if it relates to the chakra(s) you have been healing. Take this fun chakra test I found to see which chakras are balanced or imbalanced. And here is a place where you can find out your life path number.
Tameko talked about her latest victory of going infront of the camera and singing for a few videos. Since she has loved to sing for such a long time and this is truly her passion. This helped her throat chakra AND solar plexus chakra with that courageous step. (yay Tameko! hehe) It's intereting how connected the chakras really are.
Tameko is going to do another blog entry with some more tips she shared Thursday in healing the throat and solar plexus chakras since this is definitely her expertise. So as I go make some tea for my throat right now (a little scratchy), lol! I am signing off with a video I did about a week ago on Staying True to You (a challenge) as I think this ties in really well with the chakra I have had the most trouble with (the throat).
Listen in next week on Thursday at 11 PM EST when we have our first guest and interview with Janet Darby on spreading the awareness of GMO's on our "The Truth About GMO's" show. If you want to be a guest on Soul SiSTARS e-mail us at soulsistarsradio@gmail.com. Also, follow us on twitter at @SoulSiSTARSbtr. : )

Being at a Crossroads in Life
This past Thursday's show was an amazing one. Jennifer and I talked about our personal journeys in regards to being at a crossroads in life. We offered several tips on how handle being at a crossroads in life.
*Honor where you are on the path.
*Don't resist it.
*Be gentle with yourself at the crossroads.
And these are just a few of the tips Jennifer and I shared on the show. We had such a great time sharing on this topic.
We explained how being at a crossroads can mean different things for everyone. Yet, we find that it's usually about letting go of the old to embrace the new.
